The law of progress is a social law which embodies the governing operative dynamics of human advancement, societal evolution and revolution. It states, “Every quality and positive result in life has a progressive dimension with each phase of progress relative to time”.

Thus, results are progressive in their nature in relation to time. This implies that, increase in time should have a corresponding impact on human results. Each time has its expected dimensions of change with respect to human results.

When life’s results fail to progress into their new and different dimensions in relation to changing times, their effect on humanity becomes negative even if they were positive results. With respect to this, humanity needs to adopt a scientific and visionary approach to life. That is, every result in life has to be monitored in order for humanity to know when it demands for its next phase in relation to time.

Conservative, traditional and orthodox systems and societies have always ignored the law of progress and the resultant consequence has been a collapse in their civilization. The only way a civilization can be preserved is when it is tailored to operate according to the law of progress.

There have been great civilizations before now. Where are their remains? The only reason why most civilizations collapsed with time is simply because they were not governed by a conscious awareness of the law of progress. They became satisfied and relaxed with their past and present achievements. Thus, they became victims of the demand of progress with respect to changing times.

Today we have all sorts of results carried from the 20th century to the 21st century. These results are already creating a lot of chaos around the world because they are no more qualitative with respect to the needs of the 21st century. It’s time humanity progressed into new dimensions of results relative and equal to the needs of the 21st century.

For this to be a reality, humanity needs to be dissatisfied with the status quo. There is no breakthrough except outside of the status quo. Any time humanity becomes restless with her past results and achievements, Divine providence brings to bear inspiration for the next phase of things.

Inspiration leads to revelation and revelation guarantees insight, knowledge and understanding with respect to time and life’s demands.

Humanity must abandon her passive and complacent approach to progress. We must become tired of our stagnant results of the past. We need quality and positive illumination to catch up with the next phase of things.

This demand for positive and quality inspired men and women to arise and redirect the progress of humanity in the 21st century. The dynamics of the law of progress: Progress is evolutionary or revolutionary in all aspects in relation to time. Evolutionary progress is the gradual and systematic development in human results or breakthroughs, societal structures and systems to accommodate human demand.

Revolutionary progress is a process of change which redefines, transforms and reorientates the direction of human breakthroughs and societal affairs by a complete replacement of the old with the new. Both processes work together with revolution taking over from evolution when its effect is no more evident. Both evolution and revolution are indebted to social laws and concepts which initiate their occurrences.

The law of every day’s provision as related to progress: This is an absolute law with social implications. The law of every day’s provision states, “Every generation has its revelation in relation to the peculiarity of each millennium”. Revelation is relative to time. Time is unique in its characteristics and peculiarities.

According to the millennium concept, a generation is considered as a period of 100 years (A century). Thus, a millennium has ten centuries and each century according to the law of every day’s provision has its politico-socio-economic, technological, scientific revelations in relation to the peculiarity of that millennium.
